Option 330 enables pulse measurements on FieldFox using Keysight’s USB peak power sensors. The pulse measurement mode can be used to characterize RF pulses such as those used in radar and electronic warfare systems.

Frequency of operation, dynamic range, minimum pulse width and other performance specifications depend on the sensor.

Measurements include:

• Average power, peak power, and peak to average ratio
• Analog gauge display and digital display, dBm and watts
• Relative/absolute measurements, dB or %, minimum and maximum limits
• Trace graph for pulse profile viewing with gating
• Rise time, fall time, pulse width, pulse period, pulse repetition frequency
